Listen
Galen Deery -ukulele, lead vocals
Simon Deery -bass
Michael Lear -drums
The band ITO is trying to reach younger audiences to spread messages of unity and progressive change we need to see in the world. I (Galen) find inspiration in spiritual philosophy and teachings. From California to The mountains of Scotland, all the songs essentially are written to encourage people to wake up and be reminded of things they didn’t know they forgot. The movement is toward being all people together and stop relying on a system that cares more for money than the actual citizens, and start creating a beautiful sustainable loving community.
Experimenting with sounds of Africa, India, and many indigenous instruments, we create a very unique sound. It’s been categorized as jam rock, psychedelic, spirit, folk. But the goal is to have people go through an experience that has them contemplating their own lives and trying to make personal changes to develop a worldwide consciousness shift.
